SYNLINK gives you access to advertising air-time on hundreds of radio stations in Australia and worldwide. Radio stations receive access to SYNLINK hour blocks of content for free, in exchange you get the revenue from the advertising you sell and then play. If your channel qualifies for individual campaigns you may also be offered payment to run advertising spots supplied by the RadioShoppingDirect agency.
To be considered as a SYNLINK channel you must setup:
· At least a stable 32K ACC+ stereo (or 128K stereo MP3) internet stream to relay your audio to the SYNLINK hub. · Content 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year. · Be able to provide us with a program guide with precise times and days of programs to which your station adheres.
SYNLINK is organized thus: CHANNEL > PROVIDER > SYNLINK > RADIO STATION Each provider has a maximum of 500 channels they can assign.

You can be part of SYNLINK:
· As a channel through a common free provider. Each provider has conditions which you must satisfy before they will assign you a channel. You can then advertise that channel on your website.

You are not limited to a single channel. Providing you are able to provide distinct channels (e.g. significantly different audio channels such as dance on one and a separate country music channel) you can apply for more than one channel.
· As a provider. This requires payment of a $3300 annual fee. Free providers will not give you Ratings Data (what stations are broadcasting what and when), as a provider you have full network access.
